If you are available to relocate to the Monroe, Louisiana area (a full relocation package is available), read on. Monroe itself is a great community with an active community, great golf courses and a hub of cultural centers. A four hour drive to New Orleans and a ninety minutes to Shreveport and under three hours to the Gulf shore of Lafayette. With a Monday through Friday schedule, one has some great weekend options locally and nearby. We have been retained to fill a pretty neat supervisor role at a concrete/cement plant. In addition to supervising the quality team, this individual is also going to take on a technical apprentice. This is a newly created position in a growing plant. Our client is a US headquartered, multi billion dollar manufacturer of building materials and building products. Their cement/concrete/aggregates unit is highly profitable and rapidly growing. The plant is situated near Monroe, Louisiana. Up until now, the team has reported to a Quality Manager in Dallas. With the growing demands and projects coming out of this plant, it is time to put a supervisor on site. The plant has fifteen employees and has a testing lab on site. This supervisor will also work with their largest general contractor; the GC is driving a large amount of business through the plant.
